Lots of good food, excellent service, friendly

If you're not a vegetarian, this place and the gravy is pure American breakfast gold. Loved it! My wife had the veggie omelette and she is partially critical of the extra oil with the potatoes but was very interested in trying to make them herself. Will be back for sure!

Small but has a good armosphere and food. I really enjoy the sausage links and eggs. Was surprised how good the burger was. Great diner at good prices. Friendly attentive staff. Food orders are quick.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I heard great things and I live across the street. At approximately 9am all the tables were taken and I ordered my food to go. There were seats open at the bar but I planned on getting food to go. The food wAs ready in less than 15 min. I thought the country gravy (their specialty) was just Ok, not great but okay. Scrambled eggs were good. Over all the food was good and it was inexpensive. It costs less to eat breakfast at Dave’s than it does at That One Place for food just as good if not better.

This is a wonderful mom and pop restaurant with great food and the best biscuits and gravy I've had since leaving the Midwest. The place is small, and it can get rather busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait if you go sometime like Saturday morning.The main downside to this place is that they don't accept any digital payment, so make sure to bring cash, but you likely won't need more than $10 a person if you get options like biscuits and gravy.

Great chicken fried steak. I have dedicated much of my life to finding the best chicken fried steak. This is in the top three so far. Hash browns crisp and the sausage gravy was exceptional. Goin' back! Price was fair.

Best homestyle eatery in all of Kitsap County. Spectacular food, reasonable prices, and fantastic customer service. Has kept me coming back for the 24 years I've lived here and it's 20 miles away from where I live.

Uncle Davie's café is one the best places to eat and if I rated is would be 10 stars it is that good and the people there are wonderful and kind and polite and takes your orders fast..if you have never been there go try it out

Had to ask for a menu after about 10 minutes. The Ruben sandwich tasted on the bland side. The waitress gave us our check right after our food and never returned to see how we were doing. When I went to the register to pay, I told her about my dissatisfaction with the sandwich and all she said was "oh." I have heard good things about this restaurant. Maybe this was a unique experience, but I wasn't impressed. I won't be returning.

Love going to Uncle Dave's. Great hangover breakfast, fast and inexpensive. Get there early, before the pull-tab seat hogs show up or you're likely to be waiting in line outside the door.

Food is always good. Friendly servers. Prices are good for the quality food get.

Some of the plainest food I’ve ever had! All I ordered were potatoes and a biscuit - potatoes visibly had seasoning on it but I could taste literally none of it, then the biscuit was huge but grossly undercooked! Waste of money and on top of that we felt very rushed to get out of there. Our waitress would barely let us get a word out before rushing off to do something. Never coming back.

Note: I did have a one star rating on this review, but after reading many other reviews I've added another star; mostly because even mom and pop places that are not great, are getting harder to find and I really don't like big chain restuarants. My order had two eggs over medium which came with a wad of curly black hair cooked into one edge. Seriously can't believe the waitress didn't check the plate and notice it. I was so hungry after a long drive that I ate everything except that hairy egg. Once past the eggs, my food was just mediocre, it was hot, it came out quickly, and didn't cost a fortune. The place itself was run down and dirty; there was a black greasy crust on the floor along the walls extending outwards so you could see exactly how far anyone ever bothers to mop under there. The bathroom was pretty bad with a faucet that's so corroded out, you can see through the metal into the workings. I can't recommend this cafe, at this time.

Always a good place to come and have a meal. The good is always excellent!

Great small family resturant with excellent service. I ordered the ham and egg scramble, the eggs were moist with lots of goey cheese and lots of diced ham. The extra bonus was the giant fluffy biscuit.

This is s sad to say but there's something different about the biscuits and gravy. Not up to what it used to be. However the other items on the menu are fixed with great speed 👌 and care. The prices are reasonable too.

Breakfast after wife's medical appointment. Around 9:30 am Uncle Dave's is located near 7-11. General parking. $ CASH ONLY $ The place is not too big. The same 2 hard working ladies have been working there for MANY years. My wife ordered Ham and Eggs, coffee and I ordered Corned Beef hash.2 eggs over medium, a biscuit with a side cup of sausage gravy. Yummy !! The servers are friendly and very busy. Your order takes a little while, be patient, it's served Hot. Our bill was $23.15.👌

This place is amazing. The food is always cooked to perfection, the wait staff are amazing and very kind and most of all this place feels like walking into home. The atmosphere is comfy and a place where most everyone knowns each other. Their specials, a different one each day of the week, are great and reasonably priced. Wednesday is barbecue ribs (nice and tender fall of the bone) with baked beans and Thursday is spaghetti with garlic bread. Overall A+ in my book!

Ok food cash only had better service

After eating the steak and eggs I had a soapy taste in my mouth. The biscuits were reheated in the microwave and did not taste fresh. One of the cooks in the back was wearing a muscle shirt which is very unsanitary and actually pretty gross. The prices are really good, but all the negatives really soured our experience.

Ordered takeout for breakfast this morning. Dang it was good. They were very friendly and the food is delicious. It was ready within 10 minutes of calling it in. They also had some cans of Diet Coke on hand and since I forgot to get some when I got groceries it was a real treat. Totally would recommend for breakfast anytime but definitely as a treat during quarantine 2020!

Great food, huge portions, decent price, very popular, fairly slow service.

This is probably the best place to go for inexpensive, but very good breakfast food. However, they do NOT take credit cards. A friend and I went there, and I was the only one with cash, so I payed for his meal. However, despite this, the total only came to $12, which was for two plates of some eggs with toppings along with freshly baked rolls. It's a very mom and pop style place, where they seem to know their regulars pretty well, down to their regular orders. However it is still a good place to eat even if you've never been.

Best biscuits and gravy around! A must stop and try. The"Ham Scramble Combo" is my favorite.

The food here is excellent and the prices are good also. The Biscuits and Gravy with home fries are the best. Make sure to stop in and eat there if you haven't already been there.

I cannot say enough about this place. It is the go to Port Orchard breakfast eatery for the best Biscuits and Gravy. Creamy and meaty goodness with a homemade biscuit. Never a disappointment.

Extremely good breakfast.

I have been going here as long as I can remember and I always have a great meal. This is where the locals eat.

We came in and waited in line. First off people tried to cut us to sit down. We then decided to sit at the barstools to hopefully get food faster. We sat down at 11:06 am and order at 11:15. We sat with no water refill until past noon. No food yet. And to mention we barely ordered anything. Got our food finally and to top it off my husbands food wasn’t what he ordered. Hadn’t been here in like 8 years and I won’t be going back.

Best breakfast in the county. Prices are super reasonable, food is home style and you can tell it's made with care, staff is friendly, what more could you ask for?
